Yoga just didn't have any part in his teaching, so he never wanted to talk about it. His teaching in itself was complete and anybody could understand it, if he is just open to it. The problem is that for people, it is hard to be this open. And in the seventies, yoga had a breakthrough and people around him talked a lot too about yoga, so he tried to smash their concept of yoga, regarding enlightenment.

I think for him, it was just good gymnastic and good exercises.
