When you are talking about "misleading our concept of destiny", I am not sure if you acknowledge enough that our history can only be

limited, it can't include everything. That is the nature of life. And our destiny can too only be just limited, even when we are a crazy cat like Elon Musk.

What your article didn't answered for me, was the topic conditioning. You threw that term in like that it is our border or horizon and therefore our destiny and nothing will change that.

Furthermore that says that our lives are naturally and somehow unavoidable enslaved by society and our history.

But let us go into that lasagna, chicken thing a little bit.

I guess you agree, that your choice for chicken compared to lasagna is based on pleasure, you are bored of lasagna and then you choose chicken.

Sounds logic!

But pleasure is a tricky thing, isn't it? A lot of things promise pleasure - fame, money, women, power and so on.

A lot of us are ending like the donkey that has in front of his mouth a dangling carrot and is always striving to get it, but is never lastingly successful.

But in the end we humans have to let go off all and we learn the hard way that clinging to things will only lead us to suffering.

Therefore you choose the lasagna, instead the chicken, because you don't go for cheap things that gives you pleasure.

Remember when Alf was going for Willi Tenners sausage sandwich, Willi was threatening him to throw him out.

Alf commented that with saying: " Shortly pleasure instead of longtime security, that must be thought well through."

Just a joke. But some people are like Diogenes the Cynik, the dog philosopher for example. They repudiate pleasure, they would go for lasagna!!!

Then there comes another thing, you or they chose actively lasagna and were not forced to. That means you are more open for the experience eating lasagna then you were before eating lasagna, because there is less rejection to lasagna, because it is your choice to eat lasagna.

And if you manage to give your whole attention without any rejection to the lasagna eating process, you freed yourself from your lasagna conditioning.

Open again to the lasagna world! And your last dish will never tell you what you have to eat in the future.

Funny thing, isn't it. In eating lasagna you freed yourself from lasagna, otherwise you would have been for some time enslaved by lasagna and later probably by chickens.

But enslaved by chickens is probably worse! Stupid creatures!

Karma is a burning rosette, because of too much Sambal Oelek. I like topics about meditation, zen, psychology, politics and art. Special interest Krishnamurti.
