One shouldn't seek enlightment. Enlightment is for us normal people a concept that our thoughts produced and if we seek enlightment, we go for that concept. But that concept of enlightment is not enlightment itself, it is just the concept. So if one is searching for enlightment, then one is search for the thing that is not or that ist not real - the illusion.

I think the way is, to focus on that what is real, when we are focusing on what that is not real, then it is easy to get lost.

If one is searching for enlightment, then one is creating a goal, thus a way from A to B.

But what if there is no B, what if there is only here and now. Then you set yourself on a road (the search for enlightment) that is not there and that will never arrive anywhere, because it is you who created the goal and because the goal is set in illusions.

Thanks for sharing.

Karma is a burning rosette, because of too much Sambal Oelek. I like topics about meditation, zen, psychology, politics and art. Special interest Krishnamurti.
