I was astonished when I found out that the term covert narcissist existed while I was doing the research for this article.

When I heard the word narcissist, I mostly thought of people, who are showing this attribute in their personality openly.

I was not that aware that people could just act like they care for ones feelings. They just learned what their environment wants to hear from them. Probably there most be a lot of narcissists who are bitter and disappointed by life, but there most be still a layer in them, where they think they are elevated, seen related to their environment, even if they are not acting like that.

That is in a way devious and horrible. It is just adding to this personality disorder so immense. Thanks for commenting.
